Leah Evert, MS, RD, LD, CSCS

Leah is a registered, licensed dietitian (American Dietetic Association), certified strength and conditioning specialist (National Strength and Conditioning Coach) and certified group fitness instructor (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America). She holds a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and a Master's degree in Sport Nutrition and Exercise Science.

She currently is the Health and Wellness Dietitian at Bolling Air Force Base in Washington, DC. Previously, Leah worked as a private strength and conditioning coach, nutritional counselor and personal trainer at the elite private studio Water Street Gym in Georgetown. She also worked as an in-home personal trainer and nutritional counselor for Personal Training Associates, a DC-based in-home wellness company. In addition, Leah has worked as a certified group exercise instructor (kickboxing, pump, step, water aerobics, etc) for Sport and Health Clubs in the DC area.

Leah has worked with all kinds of populations. A former nutritional counselor and fitness instructor at New Image Weight Loss Camps, she has a tremendous amount of experience working with children and adolescents. Her experience also extends to medical nutrition therapy, as Leah interned at the renowned Washington Hospital Center as well as the Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Center.

Leah is a former division-one and all-conference softball player and regionally ranked tennis player. Currently, she is active in many forms, including running, cycling, group fitness, skiing, hiking and many sports.

Janine Klein, MS, ACE-CPT

Janine is an experienced and certified personal trainer (American Counsel on Exercise). She holds a bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy and a Master's degree in Kinesiology. She is certified in CPR by the American Heart Association. She recently completed specialty courses in Repetitive Stress Injuries for Upper Extremities and Yoga for Lower Back Pain.

She previously worked as a private in-home personal trainer and also as a personal trainer for the Washington DC based wellness company Personal Training Associates. She also worked for a Pennsylvania-based children's behavioral therapy company as a school and home-based recreational therapist.

Janine is a former division-one softball coach and coach for numerous swim teams as well as a former private speed-swim instructor.

Janine is a second-degree black belt in Hwar Do (combination martial arts) and a former junior Olympic swimmer. She was also a competitive athlete in both softball and basketball. Currently, Janine enjoys sports, cycling, hiking, swimming/water activities and cross training.
